Project Richard 3 – water for people of Kenya

Project implemented in MATSANGONI, in the eastern part of Kenya. Giriam’s people. August 2019.

The third project gave hope to several hundred people who up until then acquired water only from a pond located 3 kilometers from Matsangoni. From January to April the pond dries up and people have to walk 15 kilometers in one direction. In addition, for the water available they are still forced to pay. We drilled a well to a depth of 55 meters and installed a hand pump. We also painted the walls of school buildings.

This well is used by approximately 300 adults and 300 students from a school located nearby.
